These are the ’70s, and Richie Finestra, a recording studio manager, tries his best to keep his company afloat while overcoming a personal crisis and family troubles. The series was produced by Mick Jagger and directed by Martin Scorsese, which alone makes it a must for any devoted viewer.

You’re the Worst

Dr. John W. Thackery, sort of a House MD of the 20th century, is a surgeon at a New York hospital. Here, the most innovative methods are used to treat patients, and the doctors are genuinely concerned about their health. Laser scalpels and computer tomography are still decades away in the future. The scrupulously reconstructed era and the amazing Clive Owen only add to the overall atmosphere of the series.

The Affair

My Mad Fat Diary

Rae is a funny 16-year-old girl who weighs 200 pounds and is really concerned about her appearance, relations with her classmates, and her life overall. The action takes place in the ’90s, but all the situations the main character finds herself in are still very much recognizable today.

Ash vs Evil Dead

At first, this was planned as the fourth movie of the franchise, but there was so much to shoot that the creators decided to make a full-blown TV series. 30 years after Ash Williams opened a portal to the land of the dead, another zombie invasion threatens to destroy the whole Earth’s population. And once again, Ash has to take up arms against the undead and return them to their graves.

Horace and Pete

This is a series about a New York pub owned for a hundred years by generations of Horaces and Petes.
