20+ Creative People Who Flawlessly Recreated Their Family Photos

It’s a well-known fact that children grow very fast, especially other people’s kids. For those adults who spend all their time together with their kids, the changes are not so noticeable. Anyway, watching a tiny baby grow into a big mature adult is extremely fascinating.

Recently, there have been many people recreating their family photos by making the same shots in the same places and even in the same kinds of clothes. Some of these people go even further and spend years on preparations to make those memorable shots.

WeGoRo collected a lovely collection of such photo experiments for you.

From kindergarten to senior year in school.

“20 years ago, when my grandma turned 70, we took a picture of all of her 6 grandchildren and gave it to her as a gift. For her 90th birthday this year, we did it again.”

And again 10 years have flown by as one moment.

“22 years difference. We were visiting our old hometown and noticed these poles were still in front of our childhood home. The tree grew up well, too.”

Both overalls and hairdos suit them well.

“Got a lot of positive feedback for this childhood recreation pic of me, my brother, and two cousins.”

A gift to mother from her sons.

The result of brother’s and sister’s creatively working together.

What a daddy!

“This June, I will marry my childhood sweetheart of 22 years. This is us in 1991 vs. now.”

When your childhood dream come true.

Here is another surprise for mom from her loving kids.

16 years have passed, and Batmans have changed drastically.

This mom decided to take a photo of her son in the same jeans every year to show him how he grows. 14 years later they fit him perfectly.

The same creative mom chose a wedding dress for her daughter. It also turned out very nice.

What hasn’t changed is their facial expressions.

Four brothers. Then and now.

Brothers and sisters that take a shower together have been keeping their tradition for 20 years already.

Best friends at 10, 17 and 29.

“1984 and 2013 — 29 years later, my brothers and I recreated our family vacation photo at the Texas State Capitol.”

“My dad at 29, me at 2 weeks. Me at 29, my boy at 2 weeks.”

“Off to Pre-K with my grandmother. 19 years later, off to graduate school.”

“We made a calendar for our mom for Christmas. These are the results.”

Looking at these photos we had a wish to recreate our favorite childhood photos as well. The only thing left to do is to collect friends, go to the hometown, find the same clothes...not many things to do actually. Do you like this idea? You have probably already done it. Looking forward to seeing those photos in the comments!
