It is well known that excessive consumption of sugar isn’t exactly healthy. But today WeGoRo is going to share with you some tips on how to use sugar differently and with a much more rewarding outcome.
Research shows that granulated sugar sprinkled on wounds facilitates healing when antibiotics and other treatment methods don’t help.
Dip your finger in water, then in granulated sugar. Gently massage your lips in circular motions. This method will be a savior if you have dry or flaky lips: the sugar acts as a delicate scrub.
Prepare a mixture of 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp rice flour, and 1 tbsp milk. Apply it to your clean face, and gently massage in circular motions for 5 minutes. Leave it to dry, then wash it off with cool water. This mask will make your skin cleaner and smoother.
This is one of the simplest scrubs that you can prepare at home easily and on a budget. It cleanses your skin very delicately as the solid sugar particles eventually melt in the liquid.
To keep cookies fresh for longer, put a couple of sugar cubes in their place of storage.
A mixture of sugar and peppermint oil makes the perfect exfoliating scrub for your feet. Sugar removes dead skin cells, and oil moisturizes and softens your heels.
If you have soiled your hands with engine oil or something else that isn’t easily removable, sugar will come to the rescue once again. Just mix it with any oil, and wash your hands with this combination.
Sugar can also be used to remove traces of grass. Just sprinkle the stain with sugar, and leave it for 40-60 minutes. The result will be a welcome surprise.
Sugar can also help to keep flowers fresh: add 3 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp vinegar to the water where they are kept. Sugar is good for the stems, and vinegar will prevent bacterial growth.
After a wasp bite, apply a piece of sugar to the affected area. It’ll help to draw the poison out and prevent swelling.
